Opinion of the Court
WALDEN, Judge.

WALDEN, Judge.

We treat this appeal as a petition for common law certiorari. Fla.R.App.R. 9.040(c). We grant the petition and quash the order dated November 4, 1986, which order stayed the civil forfeiture proceeding against an airplane until the outcome of the criminal charges against the owner of the airplane. Rowell v. Smith, 342 So. 2d 149, 150 (Fla. 1st DCA 1977), cert. denied, 351 So. 2d 408 (Fla.1977).

The petition for certiorari is GRANTED.

ANSTEAD and LETTS, JJ., concur.
