Opinion of the Court
PER CURIAM.
The trial court’s constitutional stay writ, barring City of Miami ordinances 9168 and 9169 from taking effect, was properly issued to preserve the status quo pending resolution of a prior action in circuit court challenging a city appropriation ordinance affecting funding of the retirement system. See City of North Miami v. Engel, 109 So. 2d 33 (Fla. 3d DCA 1959), cert., dism., 115 So. 2d 1 (Fla.1959). Art. V, § 5(b), Fla.Const. Affirmed.
